Undaunted Normandy

Quick tight battles, very fun. Only played first mission but already hooked

Really wonderful game. the cost isn't too high, the box isn't massive. Play this one if you want a lovely combination of a war game and a deck building game with a twist. Instead of just building up an extremely efficient deck and clubbing your unlucky opponent with it you have to contend with your opponent shooting cards right out of your deck... and the game.

Every card in Undaunted is a named soldier with a piece of unique art. When they get riddled by machine gun fire you take them out of the game forever. that leads to a super interesting dynamic deck building experience where you need to balance having a small, very efficient deck that reliably does whatever you need it to do, and putting more cards than you need in to mitigate your losses.

It's got nail biting tension as your opponent declares shots at your key unit for the turn whos card you are holding in your hand. its gut wrenching when your star machine gunner takes an unlucky shot from your opponents lone rifleman, and the game is a whole lot of fun

Undaunted is a modern deck-building game of WWII tactics where scernarios are fast-paced and always on a knifes edge. Fun even for people who don't like WWII games, amazing for those who do.
Everything is well-explained and makes sense with every decision being an interesting one.
