Sell Gameology Your Trading Cards!!

Step 1 - Submit the cards you want to sell

Go to our Buy List page. If it's on the list we are buying it! Use the search function and add the cards you wish to sell to cart.

Fill out your details, Select Cash or Credit (We currently offer 15% bonus on store credit!) and choose your delivery method (Post or Drop-off). Check out! You will receive a submission confirmation email. We will contact you shortly after this with an approval email.

Step 2 - Gameology Approval

Kindly wait until our staff have reviewed your submission and sent you an approval email. Once approved please submit your cards via your selected postal/drop off method. If your submission is declined we will advise you why.

Step 3 – Packing Instructions

Please submit your cards within penny sleeves in the order shown at checkout. Consider submitting high value cards within a Toploader. We will be unable to accept any damaged cards for any reason. Cards submitted out of order will incur a 15% handling fee.

Step 4 – Shipping/drop off

Shipping Instructions: Please kindly ensure your parcel is carefully packaged and tracking is provided to us at contactus@gameology.com.au within 5 days of submitting your buylist order. It is the customers' responsibility to purchase insurance if they wish. Gameology will not take any liability for packages that are damaged or lost during shipping and reserve the right to decline any card which may have been damaged in transit due to inadequate packaging.

Store Drop-off Instructions:
We are currently only accepting Drop-offs at certain hours of the week at both of our stores. Simply head into your desired store during the below hours and speak to one of our friendly team members to enquire about the purchase of your Trading Card Singles.

Step 5 – Card Verification

Your cards will be carefully verified by our TCG Expert upon drop-off or once postage is received. We will then issue payment for store credit or cash via bank transfer. Any cards that are rejected will be returned to the customer. Return shipping will be at the expense of the customer. Gameology reserves the right to reject cards for any reason. Please read our TCG Singles Purchasing Policy for further details.

  1. What types of Trading Card Singles does Gameology purchase?
    • We currently purchase Trading Card Singles from One Piece, Pokémon and Lorcana. Please check our Buy List to see which cards we are looking for!

  2. How can I confirm if my Trading Card Singles meet your Purchasing criteria?
    • We purchase Trading Card Singles based on the following criteria:

      • i. Authenticity: All Trading Card Singles must be genuine, and not counterfeit.

      • ii. Condition: We accept Trading Card Singles in near mint or new condition. This means cards have no signs of wear or damage. This is to be determined following submission by Gameology.

  3. If I am shipping my parcel of Trading Card Singles, does my parcel need tracking?
    • Yes, we kindly ask that all Trading Card Singles being shipped to us have a tracking option chosen and the tracking number provided to us via our email contactus@gameology.com.au. This will ensure a smooth experience for our business and more importantly yourself!

  4. Are online checkout prices guaranteed?
    • Prices should be accurate at the time you check out your cards. However, there may be large price fluctuations by the time your cards are received. You will be notified if your payment amount has been affected so you can decide if you wish to proceed. Please endeavour to submit your cards within 5 business days of approval to minimise these price fluctuations.

      Our prices are based on current market prices and are generated by a 3rd party software and may occasionally lead to mispriced cards. We reserve the right to decline any cards as a result of a genuine pricing error.

  5. What happens if my Trading Card Singles are not on your Buy List?
    • If your cards are not on our Purchase List, it is likely that Gameology are not currently looking to purchase them at this time. Please check back as we are always updating our buy list based on cards we need and expanding our range!

  6. How will I receive payment for my Trading Card Singles?
    • Once we have verified the authenticity and condition of your Trading Card Singles, we will provide payment based on the agreed-upon prices listed on the submission form. You can choose to receive payment via bank transfer or store credit! We currently issue store credit via Gameology Gift Card.

  7. What if Gameology declines to purchase my Trading Card Singles?
    • While we strive to provide fair prices for all Trading Card Singles submitted to us, we reserve the right to decline any submission at our discretion. If your cards are not accepted, we will notify you promptly and arrange the return of your cards.
