Ticket to Ride Europe 15th Anniversary Edition

I've played a couple of different versions of this game before but only owned the smaller London version, which is too short for much strategy.
I contemplated getting the standard version but when I read that the 15th Anniversary edition included the Europa expansion I read a bit more about the game, did some maths and decided it was probably worth $23 extra.
I'm glad I did as the upgrades are very nice, however if it didn't have a fairly large discount I don't think I'd have felt the same way.

As for the game play, I like the addition of Stations and Tunnels, not too complicated but they both add something extra.
The tunnels have a chance to waste a turn, so you've got to work out what level of risk you're willing to take.
The stations can be extra points, for not using them, or they can let you complete a ticket which you couldn't build, or complete a ticket you shouldn't have kept without counting your train pieces first!

This is the first TTR series that I purchased and it's just perfect. You get the special ed. plastic trains in cans, and stations, plus a big map. On top of that there are additional modules that comes with it.
This edition of TTR will definetely last long before gettig another series.
