From the Kingdom series, this Banpresto figurine depicts Shin, the protagonist of Yasuhisa Hara’s work and commander of the Hi Shin unit. Part of the Grandista collection, it is a particularly imposing figure, standing approximately 31 cm tall, designed to highlight the young warrior’s stature and his military equipment.

Shin is depicted standing in his blue armour, composed of numerous segmented plates, with matching shoulder, forearm and leg guards. His blue tunic falls below the armour, paired with light-coloured trousers and a wide grey belt. The sculpture adopts an upright and confident posture, with legs apart and his left fist clenched, reflecting the character’s resolute demeanour on the battlefield.

The most striking feature of this version is the large guandao / broadsword slung over his right shoulder, featuring a long red hilt and a broad, curved blade. A sword is also visible in its scabbard on his back. This combination of weapons and the Grandista scale give the figure a particularly imposing upright silhouette, whilst reflecting Shin’s evolution from a young swordsman to a military leader wielding a polearm on the battlefield.
