Based on *Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End*, this Banpresto figurine depicts Frieren in an original ‘café-themed’ design. Dubbed ‘Café Frieren’ or ‘Frieren at a Certain Café’ in Japanese advertisements, this version, standing approximately 18 cm tall, transforms the elf mage into a waitress – a light-hearted, everyday look that contrasts with her usual depictions in adventurer’s attire.

Here, Frieren wears a light and dark green dress paired with a white apron trimmed with ruffles. The outfit is completed by a white headpiece adorned with small green ribbons, a wide corset-style belt and a large bow at the back. Her long brown lace-up boots and red earrings add several contrasting touches, whilst her silvery hair is tied back into two side ponytails.

The composition centres on a particularly distinctive detail: Frieren is holding a plate in one hand, on which rests a slice of chocolate cake, as if she were about to serve an order. One leg is raised slightly, and the movement in her hair and dress lends a sense of lightness to the composition.
