Based on Berserk, this Banpresto release is the second part of the Guts Grandista figure. Unlike a standalone figurine, this 2/2 set contains Guts’ right arm and his imposing Dragon Slayer sword, designed to complement the Guts Grandista 1/2 figurine, sold separately. The set of accessories is stated to measure approximately 25 cm.

The right arm is sculpted in a position that allows Guts to grip and wield his gigantic sword. The Dragon Slayer naturally takes up most of the composition: its extremely wide, thick and deliberately disproportionate blade captures the brutal appearance of the weapon as it appears in Kentaro Miura’s work. Once this part is attached to the 1/2-scale figure, Guts can be displayed with his iconic weapon, recreating the complete presentation envisaged by Banpresto.

The designation ‘2/2’ therefore does not refer to a scale. Banpresto has split this Grandista into two products: A:GUTS, comprising the main character, and B:RIGHT ARM & WEAPON, comprising the right arm and the weapon. The two items are sold separately and must be combined to achieve the complete set featuring the Dragon Slayer.
