Gameology PSA Grading Terms & Conditions

1. Role of Gameology

1.1 Gameology acts as an intermediary on behalf of customers when submitting trading cards to Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA).

1.2 Gameology does not perform card grading and does not control or influence grading outcomes, labels, classifications, turnaround times, or PSA processes.

1.3 All grading services are provided exclusively by PSA in accordance with PSA’s Terms & Conditions.

1.4 By using Gameology’s PSA submission service, you authorise Gameology to:

  • (a) Prepare and lodge PSA submissions for your cards;
  • (b) Arrange packaging and shipment of your cards;
  • (c) Pay PSA grading fees on your behalf; and
  • (d) Receive graded items from PSA and return them to you.

1.5 Gameology accepts responsibility for the reasonable care of customer cards while they are in Gameology’s physical possession.

2. Acceptance of PSA Terms

2.1 All submissions are subject to PSA’s Terms & Conditions, policies, and procedures.

2.2 PSA alone determines grading outcomes, labels, authenticity determinations, and service levels.

2.3 PSA grading decisions are final and non-negotiable once issued.

3. Declared Value and PSA Upcharges

3.1 You are responsible for selecting the correct Gameology grading tier based on the card’s declared value.

3.2 If PSA determines that a card has been under-declared in value, PSA may apply an upcharge.

3.3 Any PSA-initiated upcharge will be passed on to you and repriced to the appropriate Gameology tier in accordance with PSA’s assessed declared value.

3.4 No promotions, discounts, or special pricing apply to PSA upcharges.

3.5 Any additional amounts must be paid before graded cards are released to you. If payment remains outstanding after 14 days’ written notice, Gameology reserves the right to sell the affected card(s) to recover the outstanding amount.

4. Insurance and Risk

4.1 Cards are insured up to the declared value corresponding to the Gameology tier selected.

4.2 Any insurance claim will be assessed based on the market value at the time of loss or damage, subject to applicable insurance terms, as follows:

  • (a) If loss or damage occurs before the cards are received by PSA, the claim will be assessed in accordance with Gameology’s insurance policy;    
  • (b) If loss or damage occurs after the cards have been received by PSA, the claim will be assessed in accordance with PSA’s insurance policies, terms, and liability limits.

4.3 Gameology is not responsible for changes in market value or loss of value resulting from PSA grading outcomes.

5. Card Preparation and Semi-rigid card holders

5.1 All cards submitted through Gameology will be placed in clear sleeves and Card Savers unless otherwise agreed.

5.2 A processing fee of 10% may apply if cards are incorrectly submitted.

5.3 Gameology is not responsible for any damages that are occur if cards are incorrectly submitted and must be holdered or sleeved.

6. Turnaround Times

6.1 Any PSA turnaround times provided are estimates only and are controlled solely by PSA.

6.2 Gameology is not responsible for delays caused by PSA, shipping providers, customs authorities, or other factors outside its control.

7. Acceptance

7.1 By submitting cards to Gameology for PSA grading, signing a submission form, or accepting these Terms electronically, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and PSA’s Terms & Conditions.
