PRODUCT INFORMATION
Players of all ages can now venture across America by train in Alan R. Moon's Ticket to Ride: First Journey. With a brand new map and simplified rules, First Journey is the perfect way to introduce new players to the game of cross-country travel. Just like in Ticket to Ride, players collect train cards, claim routes, and try to connect cities coast-to-coast.
In First Journey, though, routes are shorter, train cards are drawn straight from the deck, and the game ends when one player completes six tickets, claiming the Golden Ticket as their prize. Climb aboard, travelers, your incredible First Journey awaits!
Based on the award-winning board game Ticket to Ride
Takes two to four adventurers across America by train
Introduce younger players to Ticket to Ride with simplified rules
Players race to finish six tickets before their fellow travelers
Fast-paced and less than thirty minutes to play
LEVEL UP YOUR GAMING EXPERIENCE
We love the Ticket to Ride jr game. It always feels like the game ends prematurely though, as someone runs out of train pieces before we've filled the board! I definitely think it should come with more train pieces. Otherwise it's great, easy enough to play that our 5 year old enjoys it, just strategic enough to engage grown ups.
Excellent introduction to strategy based board games for kids, purchased to play with our 5 year old based on recommendation.
Good quality cards and board, gameplay is easy to grasp for kids yet fun for all ages.
Ticket To Ride First Journey
We play it with our kids aged 9. & 6. The rules are quite simple, and easy to grasp, but deceptively engrossing, even for us adults. If you are new to TTR, you won’t be disappointed.
