There is a hidden realm outside the world of the waking: a realm of wonder, imagination, and nightmares. After occult author Virgil Gray writes about his adventures in these “Dreamlands,” you decide to set forth and learn the truth for yourself. What is real, and what is fiction? And what secrets await in the dark, forbidden places beyond the gates of sleep?

The Dream-Eaters is the fifth deluxe expansion for Arkham Horror: The Card Game. In this expansion, 1–4 players take on the roles of either a group of investigators venturing into the Dreamlands or their companions who have been left in the waking world. This expansion contains the first two scenarios of The Dream-Eaters cycle; one scenario for each of these two groups. This expansion also contains new investigator and player cards that increase the customization options for the game.

This is not a standalone product. A copy of the Arkham Horror: The Card Game Core Set is required to play.

This expansion is a sleepy one...

Get it? Because of the dreams. You don't actually eat any dreams or get any sleep, unless you count the delicious midnight snack that I had before playing. That was a very nice treat and I do imagine that it will help my deck this run.

Arrived in good condition and didn't take too long. Was glad that the box was not scratched or squashed. Also bought it for a low price compared to other stores and would be willing to buy more arkham horror products from gameology in the future.

Great Game

Another great couple of starting scenarios from Fantasy Flight Games. Notably I think the writing is particularly strong compared to previous expansion openings (Dunwhich etc). The artwork is some of the best the game has ever had; though this is primarily because of setting.
It's also worth noting that this campaign is actually two, four part campaigns that can be played as seperate groups. If not your single group can act as the two groups, it really makes the narative quite interactive.
